Can we be friends?

Today, I had a perfect evening with my Greek friend. He's such a gem. Unfortunately, I cant make him meet my other friends, because of the tension between him and Turkish people. Its sad, how our governments can create such hatred in our hearts for another nation. At the end of the day, it is our own fault that we let them brainwash us. It is not necessary that every person from your enemy country wants to hurt you. Maybe if we tried as individuals, we could bring peace for any two nations that have hatred for each other.

I would like to end this note, with a beautiful song but Bette Midler. I'm sure most of you have heard this one. Happy Monday everyone! Don't forget to make some one smile! Maybe its that smile' that they need to carry on :)

Friendship

Family is what we're born with; not always they are those that we chose. Its our friends that eventually become a part of our family. Friendship is something that is very important in this life. Human nature wants to be with another person, to love and be loved. It is a beautiful thing if understood and no games played.

Don't let little disputes injure a friendship. Even if the friendship ends, don't carry on with grudges.You will only harm yourself with that burden; and it will hurt more and more everyday. Let go of the past and move on to find new and better friendships. Just remember to be true and be a friend in need.

No body wants to be alone in this world. It so difficult already to find true love and that perfect person. Be there for your friends, just as you expect them to be there for you. Even if they don't meet your expectations, you meet theirs!

I miss you

I hate that I cant forget you. I cant stop the tears rolling down from my eyes.I have buried you deep inside my heart. I hate you for leaving me. I remember the time you got me the drink from the store just because I felt so alone and uncomfortable. You were my friend, when I had none. You were there, when I needed someone the most. You always showed me the way. Where are you now? Don't you see that I need to now!?

You changed my life; You really did! All I want to do now, is tell you how much I still love you and adore you and thank you for all that you've done for me. 

I have so much to tell you. So much that I cant even put my word together, so much that I don't even know from where to start. I know I will see you one day soon! Honestly, I am dreading that day, Even though I cant wait to see that beautiful face of yours. I am sorry! I am so extremely sorry. I know I had promised you, and I broke that promise. I hope I didn't hurt you. And I hope you can forgive me! You don't know how much I miss you and love you! You are my angel! 

Why did leave? In a mysterious way, I can feel you in my every step, but you're not here. You're gone! I'll keep you in my heart for ever,till we meet again! I miss you!

Peace - Is that hard to find?

I always wonder, what has happened to today's world? Why is it so hard to find peace nowadays? Why is everyone sad? Why are kids dying of poverty? Sigh.. So much going on that I don't even know from where to start and where to end this story of sadness.

Anyway, we all know there is a lot going on, which is absolutely out of our controls; but I have some good news for all those people looking for peace, and trying to make a difference.Yes, we can make a difference. Everyday, smile at some one. Pass on a compliment to some one for whom you're a complete stranger. Make sure, you don't just go for people of your ethnicity/race/colour. We need to get past all those small things, and remember that we all are the same, with the same laughter and same tears.

I hope who ever might come across this post, will do this for no one but themselves.
